What this site collects

When you send the volunteer form, we receive the information you enter. Your name and email address are required. Your phone number, ZIP code, areas of interest, availability, and message are optional.

If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share in that conversation.

This site does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies, and it has no accounts or sign in.

How we use it

We use the information you send through the volunteer form to read and respond to your volunteer inquiry.

Sending the form does not sign you up for a mailing list or marketing emails.

Services that help run this site

• Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host, its servers receive technical details with each request, such as your IP address and browser type, in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
• Resend delivers volunteer form submissions to our team's email inbox.
• Google Fonts provides the site's typefaces, so your browser connects to Google's servers to load them.

The volunteer form briefly uses your IP address to limit repeated submissions from the same connection. We do not save it.

Contributions

Online contributions are being set up through ActBlue. When online giving is available, contributions will be made on ActBlue's platform, and ActBlue's own privacy policy will apply to the information you provide there.

Links to other websites

This site links to public resources published by other organizations, such as the National Archives, the Library of Congress, and official United States government election resources. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.
