Representation is not symbolic. When district lines are drawn to split a community apart or pack it into a single seat, that community loses the ability to elect anyone who answers to it, and every other fight it cares about gets harder to win.

What we are fighting
Partisan gerrymandering, targeted voter suppression laws, and discriminatory map-drawing are specifically deployed to crack and pack communities of color, neutralizing their electoral voice. We champion voting rights enforcement and grassroots capacity-building to defend and expand Black political power against systemic erasure.
